Teflon Coating
OODA Teflon Coating used for all industrial assambly parts and maintances equipments like home appliances, automobile components, medical compounds and chutes.
PTFE Based Abrasion Resistant Coatings :
An abrasion and wear resistant coating functions by reducing the friction caused from one component rubbing against another. PTFE (or Polytetrafluoroethylene) provides a low coefficient of friction that prevents the scoring, galling, or sticking of mating components.
Abrasion resistant coatings can be solely PTFE in chemistry or contain other additives to reinforce their resistance to wear or increase their lubricity. Graphite and molybdenum disulfide are inorganic solid based lubricants and can be used as a standalone coating or in conjunction with PTFE. These lubricants are ideal for applications where a component actuates inside another as the coating can transfer from the coated to un-coated component, creating two lubricating surfaces.
Overall, abrasion and wear resistance coatings can:- Extend component life
- Improve part performance
- Decrease costs associated with part servicing and replacement
- Increase chemical resistance, allowing for functionalisty in harsh conditions
