Industrial High Temp Resistant Coating
Our product features an extensive line of heat resistant adhesives, sealants, coatings and potting/encapsulation compounds that can withstand temperatures as severe as 2600°F and higher. Our epoxy systems are presently employed on satellites, downhole oil equipment, medical devices, automotive components, lasers and other equipment applications.
Our heat resistant product line includes one and two component:
- Epoxies
- Silicones
- Urethanes
- Ceramic
Performance Properties for High Temperature Resistant Adhesives:
As with all products in the OODA Bond family, specific grades vary in viscosity, cure speed, chemical resistance and electrical properties, but can be customized to meet your application needs.
High-temperature-resistant coatings are designed to withstand temperatures ranging from 1550°C to over 2760°C) while providing protection against corrosion.
Composed of either organic or inorganic materials, high-temperature coating resins could either be an epoxy, epoxy phenolic, epoxy novolac, silicone, or a more specialized multi-polymeric matrix depending on the level of temperature resistance required.
High-temperature coatings are often found in the following industries:
- Aerospace
- Power
- Manufacturing
- Petrochemical
- Military
Specific examples of applications for high-temperature coatings include:
- Jet Engines
- Power / Chemical Plants / Refineries
- Offshore assets
- OEM applications
- Corrosion Under Insulation
- Fireproofing
- Buildings and Construction
